[Bug 1303736] Re: Black screen after wakeup from suspending by closing the laptop lid
What I also noticed is that the power management is somehow broken. I set up my power manager to blank screen only when I close the lid while being connected with an AC Adaptor, yet it shuts down and goes to sleep. It should do this only when running from battery. The indicator icon is also constantly up and running even though I specified for it to be shown only when the battery is charging/discharging. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303736 Title: Black screen after wakeup from suspending by closing the laptop lid To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xfce4-power-manager/+bug/1303736/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1315842] [NEW] Compiz crashes Unity unexpectedly, no option for recovery
Public bug reported: Sometimes it occurs that my Unity session crashes just like that - no window decorations, no panel, but whatever was going on in the background continues, like music playback. Problem is though it cannot be restarted, since the option to kill the X server has been removed from 14.04. I did only minor alterations to Compiz, eg. bound the zoom function to mouse buttons, added hotspots for expose to screen corners, changed the number of screens from the default 4 to 6 (+2 vertical), fade effects of windows, changed the drag button from ALT to Super, yet it keeps freezing/hanging/crashing on a regular basis.
