[Bug 1706803] Re: mate-indicator-applet-complete crashed with SIGABRT in g_assertion_message()
I am getting this under Ubuntu 20.04 - is this still not fixed (apparently almost 4 years old)? Getting a crash notification quite often (does not matter which of the indicator applets I use), this makes using mate so annoying as it being nearly unusable. How can I get the crash details to see if my crashes are actually the same as the ones described in here? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1706803 Title: mate-indicator-applet-complete crashed with SIGABRT in g_assertion_message() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1706803/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 33072] Re: Pulling AC plug suspends computer
This happens consistently every time on my laptop running Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. I keep it running with the lid open and the AC power cable connected, when I unplug the cable Ubuntu auto-suspends (battery is well over 90%). Extremely annoying. [Bug 1849143] [NEW] onboard crashes (Segmentation fault)
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS. Just installed onboard using "apt install onboard" which installs version 1.4.1-2ubuntu1 I am running the xfce4 desktop since it is one of the few left that do not force me to use my (work) computer like a mobile phone or tablet. When running "onboard" from the command line, the message "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" appears. Same for "onboard-settings". [Bug 1800355] [NEW] Allow file as command line argument
Public bug reported: When invoking kile from my working directory using something like "kile main.tex" the error "Unknown host main.tex: Host not found" is raised. This always worked in previous versions and is an unnecessary and user- unfriendly change of behaviour. In most cases kile will be used to work on a file or project in the current directory and it should be easy to run it for that purpose, making it use a specific file or directory initially. Kile also crashes with a segementation fault when invoking with the command "kile ." If kile is started from inside a directory without an argument and one then tries to open a file from the current directory, the open file dialog does NOT show the current directory but one has to start from the home directory which is extremely annoying. All in all the behaviour of kile for starting working on some file in a directory has degraded so much as to make it unusable. ** Affects: kile (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1800355 Title: Allow file as command line argument To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kile/+bug/1800355/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1174162] Re: chrome-browser makes gnome-keyring-daemon use 100% cpu
I am seeing this and not an irccloud.com user. [Bug 1248461] Re: Okular freezes when opening file
After upgrading to 16.04 okular hangs when for all files when I start it directly specifying a file name on the command line. It takes a couple of minutes before a window is shown at all, then the window, which is just gray remains unresponsive until I kill okular. If I start okular without a file name, an initial screen is shown, the menu bar is responsive, I can open the configure okular dialog etc. however when I choose File -> Open, the program locks up and becomes unresponsive without showing a file selection dialog. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1248461 Title: Okular freezes when opening file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/okular/+bug/1248461/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 484429] Re: Plugging in a LUKS device causes the following error: Error unlocking device: cryptsetup exited with exit code 239: Command failed: Device already exists
This error is making using encrypted external USB harddrives completely unusable for me. I see that error every time I try to use any (of two completely different) devices after a few minutes, sometimes after a bit longer. There are suggestions on help pages to use "sudo dmsetup remove /dev/mapper/udisks-luks-uuid-" however this fails with a "device busy" message. There are suggestions on help pages to use "sudo cryptsetup luksClose udisks-luks-uuid-x" however this also failes with a "Device or resource busy message". The only temporary way to make this error message go away is to completely reboot my computer, reattach the harddrive, enter the password and use it for a few minutes until the same error appears again. I am using Ubuntu 15.10 4.2.0-35-generic #40-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 15 22:15:45 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/484429 Title: Plugging in a LUKS device causes the following error: Error unlocking device: cryptsetup exited with exit code 239: Command failed: Device already exists To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/udisks/+bug/484429/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 484429] Re: Plugging in a LUKS device causes the following error: Error unlocking device: cryptsetup exited with exit code 239: Command failed: Device already exists
I am having this problem using 15.10. [Bug 1159707] Re: Cinnamon panel / task bar becomes unresponsive to mouse
Same problem on Ubuntu 15.04 64 bit on a Lenovo W550s with the default configuration and with nvidia-346 and nvidia-prime installed. The Cinnamon version is 2.2.16-5. The panel and all the applets inside the panel do not react at all - it is as if the panel was simply not there: right clicking on the panel brings up the same menu as when right clicking on the desktop. However, starting programs from desktop icons works and the program windows are responsive, switching with Alt-Tab between them works too. The Menu can be opened using the Win key and then works as it should. However, because the window list in the panel and the other elements of the panel are not usable with the mouse, Cinnamon is practically useless for me. Which is a pity because it is the only window manager that seems to correctly deal with the HiDPI of the Lenovo W550s. Is there any way how we could provide additional information that may help to get this bug fixed? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159707 Title: Cinnamon panel / task bar becomes unresponsive to mouse To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1159707/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
