the varnish plugin (and libs) are not reliable (and stable ABI wise) so
it was droped from package in Debian (and so also in ubuntu if not
anybody patches the ubuntu package to ship it anyways).

16.04). Might that help?

Anyway ... monitoring-plugins 2.2 supports radcli too, which should hit

the usual process is to get it fixed in Debian and then it should hit
the next Ubuntu release. (or somebody is making a new ubuntu release of
the package)

Updates in a stable Ubuntu release needs to be acknowledged by the

check_smtp_send is not part of monitoring-plugins or nagios-plugins
upstream project. It is part of check_email_delivery (
http://buhacoff.net/software/check_email_delivery/) which is packaged
into the nagios-plugins-contrib package (at least in Debian). A version
0.7.2 was never in this package and as far as I know, was newer released
by upstream

I created a new LVM Volume and a new ext3 FS. I copied the whole FS from
ext4 to ext3 and running now the VM on ext3.

Today the ext4_mb_generate_buddy bug did hit me agian. With ext3 FS and
running the VM with "cache=none" setting.

Re: [Bug 1372284] Re: nagios3: SIGSEGV everyday at midnight

2014-09-29 Thread Jan Wagner
This is probably relevant to Debian's check-mk packaging, too.

As this is probably true.

Checking in Debian and reporting there if this bug applies to Debian would be
 appropriate.

This wouldn´t help much. check-mk is removed from testing and not
touched since ~1y, with 20 bugs open, 6 of them security. It´s more
likely to get removed from Debian.
Even nagios3 is in legacy mainainance and is not getting updated to
newer versions as they are all more or less broken. I would guess, it
will be also removed anythime, if there will be a drop in replacement
available.

If anybody would ask me, as part of the Debian Nagios Mainainers Group,
I would tying to avoid to use one of these both packages.

Cheers, Jan.

So don't expect any updates on this, as this package is dead upstream

Anyways ... the origin problem is, that libphp-phplayersmenu isn't

Do yourself a favor and just have a look into

[Bug 323158] Re: alt installer looping, dhcp request every second

2009-04-07 Thread Jan Wagner
Confirm same problem with the installer from ubuntu-8.10-alternate-
powepc+ps3.iso, it happens when one re-runs Detect network settings,
which fails.

The bug appears to be same/similar as 2004 Redhat
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=136123 Bug 136123 -
dhclient never gets lease though one is offered, there is mention of a
patch there

[Bug 316835] Re: brasero location box does not work

2009-04-07 Thread Jan Wagner
Noticed the same bug, Ubuntu 8.10 Brasero 0.8.2.

Hitting enter should either auto-add the file in the Location entry
field to the project, or change the path in the tree view. Right now,
nothing happens. Bad GUI design, please fix.

If this behaviour with no reaction is desired, then please at least
gtk_editable_set_editable() to false.

Then the user is not mislead to enter text into the non-working Location
field.
