I see that a patch has been applied and some work around to get this device working with Linux Kernels greater than 3.2. No setting are lost as I have had vlc and keepassx up and running and kde crash does not require relaunch. However it does crash rekonq and require user to relaunch. When kde craches is acts identical to a logout although i am not required to input user name and password to get back to the desktop. I unchecked the Kde option to delete KDE cache with in bleachbit. Bleachbit does crash the system anymore.
