[Bug 525186] Re: firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
Well I'm trying to download some DVD ISO files from Distrowatch, but it keeps crashing. It happened before the latest updates, and afterwards, too, when I started up Firefox it said one DVD ISO had problems, but started the one file again, but crashed again. You'd think I was beta testing Firefox 4 at this rate. I'll see if the Janitor helps... [Bug 606469] [NEW] BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 00000013
Public bug reported: Perhaps I should have done Ubuntu 10.10 Updates before adding the Firefox 404 extension update? When Firefox opened I got the Update App checker crash again. What happened to the Force Quit option, since that worked before. Thanks, now to check Firefox again. [Bug 525186] Re: firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
I think some updates were applied that effect this more severely, since I can't launch Firefox because I can't bypass this updater. Script: file:///usr/lib/firefox-3.6.7/components/nsExtensionManager.js:623 I have the Update Extension loaded that works separately from this one I think, but I suppose it'll be fixed soon. I will miss my Firefox Extensions and Bookmarks. [Bug 525186] Re: firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
I had to restart computer because the game called Gem DropX wouldn't start or close. On restarting, Firefox the auto-update checker caused this problem by not exiting properly to allow FF to open as usual. I removed Gem DropX. Gweled, the game used to be better without the timer, I used to play to for hours on Mint and Puppy. Has anybody else noticed that some of the games do not enlarge in full-screen anymore, remember the older folks out here and those that like the bigger card faces, etc. Thanks 10.10 is coming along great, Joan in Reno -- firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/525186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 460189] Re: package squeak-vm 1:3.9.8-3ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade:
After the upgrade, I did an update and this file had been updated. But when I did a search for Janitor in Synaptic, it wasn't found. So I used the Xubuntu 9.10 RC disk, something tells me it won't look like Qimo any longer, but I'm just testing before passing this computer on to a teacher of Autistic children. For all I know, the other techs will be adding their donations, upgrading and converting them to what is needed, Maybe a few techs and teachers will be curious about Linux though. [Bug 243286] [NEW] Mozilla Firefox 3 broke
Public bug reported: My classic Yahoo Webmail isn't working to compose or reply, after the last updates of Ubuntu Firefox 3 Webmail Extension and Ubuntu 8.04 updates. [Bug 243286] Re: Mozilla Firefox 3 broke
Now the buttons don't work to move messages to my Webmail folders either on Ubuntu. Later today I'll resort to re-install and see if that fixes it. Does Ubuntu automatically collect or upload errors nightly to make Ubuntu better? That would be a good idea if it doesn't. [Bug 243286] Re: Mozilla Firefox 3 broke
Confirmed Ubuntu 8.04 64-bit bug with FF3 and Yahoo Classic Webmail. After the 130 Ubuntu 8.4 updates on my P3 box my Yahoo Classic is still working. When can I know it is safe to re-install Ubuntu 8.4 64-bit? Would the same problems show up as a Live CD?
