Sorry for the double post, but can also confirm that installing package linux-backports-modules-net-natty-generic has just increased download speeds by a factor of 10 and the network appears to have stopped dropping out on me. Can confirm I have this bug too. Dual booting Windows/Ubuntu on a Samsung N150.
