[Bug 635744] [NEW] package libphonon-dev 4:4.6.2-0ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: package libphonon-dev is already installed and configured
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dpkg While upgrading from 10.4 to 10.10 beta, an error appeared saying it failed to update a libphonon configuration file because it didn't exist. Close to the end another error appeared saying liphonon couldn't be installed because it was already installed. In the end the upgrade process said it would revert, but it didn't. In my case it crashed when changing the wired connectin to use OpenDNS.
