[Bug 828175] [NEW] Gnome clock applet not displaying evolution appointments

2011-08-17 Thread Jose Ramon Huerga
Public bug reported:

After the upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04, the gnome clock applet is not
diplaying my evolution appointments. I am 100% sure that this worked
fine in Ubuntu 10.10. Now, the clock applet only displays the time
zones. Curiously, the days I have an appointment are in bold, but if I
click or double-click on the number, nothing happens (on 10.10, the
details of the appointment were shown).

[Bug 808254] [NEW] Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so

2011-07-10 Thread Jose Ramon Huerga
Public bug reported:

If I open firefox from a terminal ( $ firefox ) after some hours I see
dozens of errors like this:

Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: no se puede abrir el fichero

to be just a warning .

[Bug 808258] [NEW] plugin-container consumes a lot of CPU

2011-07-10 Thread Jose Ramon Huerga
Public bug reported:

Having Firefox open with a dozen tabs is painful for the CPU, specially
when some of the tabs contain Facebook, Yammer, etc. Using 'top' you can
easily see that most of the CPU is wasted by firefox-bin and also by
plugin-container. On a laptop this implies that the batteries run out of
energy earlier.
