[Bug 160814] Re: FATAL: Error inserting gspca. Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter

2007-11-12 Thread Josep Sànchez
My cam (Logitech Communicate STX) worked perfectly with Edgy and Feisty, but
with Gutsy there's no way.
After compiling the latest gspca driver, it shows the same error message as the
first post:

$sudo modprobe gspca
FATAL: Error inserting gspca
(/lib/modules/2.6.22-10-generic/kernel/drivers/usb/media/gspca.ko): Unknown
symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

$dmesg

[Bug 80531] Re: Microphone not working

2007-04-14 Thread Josep Sànchez
Yes, yes, yes, yes!! Thanks a lot GaryBrlow, your A method has worked for
me.
For others guidance, I'm working with an up to date Edgy Eft version with AC97
soundcard.
After some months without being able to record sound, you've solved it.

Thanks a lot once again.
