I have no idea of these packages. Lubuntu works well on this machine. Public bug reported: Ubuntu installs, Graphics reported as IntelĀ® Q45/Q43, black screen on reboot troubleshooting led me to: edit /etc/gdm3/custom.conf and uncommented #waylandenable=false edit /etc/default/grub amended GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i915.modeset=1" as I have an intel graphics chipset.
