[Bug 848250] Re: Tomboy sync fails on Oneiric, New Note Template already exists
11.10 fresh install and U1, me too. A workaround is create in the u1 website a note named New Note Template and then sync. And then choose the option rename my local note. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/848250 Title: Tomboy sync fails on Oneiric, New Note Template already exists To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomboy/+bug/848250/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 745429] Re: package virtualbox-ose 4.0.4-dfsg-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
I modified the file /etc/default/virtualbox-ose in the way propose by Xavier Bassery but this didn't work for me. In order to uninstall virtualbox-ose, I selected the recorey option at starting screen and choose the netroot (non-gui session with networking). In the console we used dpkg -P virtualbox-ose to uninstall and it worked for me. I think that in this way the module isn't no load. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/745429 Title: package virtualbox-ose 4.0.4-dfsg-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+bug/745429/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 811097] Re: package virtualbox-ose 4.0.4-dfsg-1ubuntu4 failed to uninstall: the pre-removal script returner error status 1
If you want to uninstall virtualbox-ose try this: - entry in the system using recovery option - use netroot option (console with user root and networking). - use dpkg -P virtualbox-ose, to purge the packages This works for me, I think that if you entry in this way in the system, vboxnetadp module is not loaded and you can perform the uninstall -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811097 Title: package virtualbox-ose 4.0.4-dfsg-1ubuntu4 failed to uninstall: the pre-removal script returner error status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+bug/811097/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
