[Bug 1670041] Re: Poor performance of Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac (rev 32) (Killer Wireless 1535)

[Bug 1670041] Re: Poor performance of Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac (rev 32) (Killer Wireless 1535)
I'm having a hard time understanding this bug report, so I have some extra questions: Is the 27.3 Mbit/s throughput transmit (laptop -> AP) or receive (AP -> laptop) speed? That's an important detail to know. Also I see claims that this is a firmware problem, how was that conclusion made? If receive throughput is good but transmit throughput is low when it's most like the longstanding problem ath10k has with Linux TCP stack. [Bug 732608] [NEW] [FFe] Upgrade indicator-network to 0.3.6
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-network indicator-network 0.3.6 has these new features: o New Network Settings app written in vala. Follows the ui design more closely. o Flight mode support both in Network Menu and in the Network Settings app. o Proper toggle switches in Network Menu. Even these are new features, they make it easier to use indicator- network. The most risks are with the settings app, but all regressions are easy to fix due to simplicity of the application. And because indicator-network is in universe, there isn't that many users yet. ** Affects: indicator-network (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/732608 Title: [FFe] Upgrade indicator-network to 0.3.6 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
