[Bug 278543] Re: Missing Binary of QLandkarte GT Application

2009-04-12 Thread KamiKasi
** Description changed:

There is no Binary of QLandkarteGT available for Ubuntu.
There already is a binary for QLandkarte so it is no Problem to use Garmin
Vector Maps under Ubuntu but the possibility to use pixel based Geotiff maps is
not available yet.

I would really love to see QLandkarteGT available from the Applications Menu.
Could someone please be so kind to create a binary so that there is the full
functionality for all those who use Mapping Software under Ubuntu???

[Bug 71737] Re: Headphone and Speakers are switched on Amilo Xi1526

2008-10-09 Thread KamiKasi
Now Sound really works!

Everything ist OK now after adding

  options snd-hda-intel model=fujitsu

to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.
Speaker and headphone works right, and the volume wheel also works now!

[Bug 71737] Re: Headphone and Speakers are switched on Amilo Xi1526

2007-10-22 Thread KamiKasi
Sorry I was quite busy last time...

Now I have already installed Gutsy on the Amilo Xi 1526 and was a little
unhappy cause sound didn't work.
But after adding

  options snd-hda-intel model=auto

to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base I had Sound. But with the same problems as
with Feisty. :(

Today I've tried with the snd-hda-intel devices and found that

  options snd-hda-intel model=6stack-dig

works perfectly! :D
Sound from Speakers, when I plug in the Headphone sound mutes on speakers and
headphone works! Gr8!
Mic works too!

I'm now absolutly satisfied!

[Bug 71737] Re: Headphone and Speakers are switched on Amilo Xi1526

2007-08-28 Thread KamiKasi
Hello trollord,

yes the problem still occurs.

I've testet with Gusty Tribe 4 and 5.

In Tribe 4 I can activate the sound with Tribe 5 it is not possible anymore...
There are much lesser levelers/channels in Tribe 5.

To activate sound in Tribe 4 I had to use H-Phone one other (I do not
remember right now) channel to hear any sound. Heaphone Jack was working
right (no switched sound!) and the jack-sense was working too!

I will add the debugging information for both Versions as soon as
possible! (Could take some days, sorry...)

[Bug 94373] Re: Intel_hda alsa/realtek codec feisty no volume

2007-04-24 Thread KamiKasi
I've got a very similar problem with my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xi1526.

The soundcard is Intel-hda with Realtek ALC880.

On Edgy I have the problem that speakers and headphonejack were switched (see
BUG 71737).
Now after upgrading to feisty there was no sound at all.

After adding mode=3stack to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base sound works, but
only with the headphone jack - the speakers are dead!

I want to try out different modes today (5stack, w810 etc.). But if you
got any other idea what could be wrong please let me know!

2007-04-21 Thread KamiKasi
The used codec for snd_hda_intel is Realtek ALC880

I've read that there are many problems with Realtec chips. I hope you
find a solution fast - or I've to downgrade to Edgy. :(

[Bug 71737] Re: Headphone and Speakers are switched on Amilo Xi1526

2007-04-18 Thread KamiKasi
I've updated to festy yesterday.

Hoped it ould be better with the new version but its getting worse. :(

First there was no sound at all.
Then I tried some tips from an other bugreport: #94373

Adding 'options snd-hda-intel model=3stack' to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
helped but only Headphone is working. Speakers are still dead.

I've turned up every levler in alsamixer but nothing helped.

I think one problem could be that tail -2 /proc/asound/oss/sndstat shows
only 0: Motorola Si3054 which seems to be the modem...

Don't know what to do next please help!

[Bug 70109] Re: Headphone jack doesn't work on HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop

2006-11-13 Thread KamiKasi
I've got the same problem with my new Fujitsu Siemens Amillo Xi1526.
With plugged in headphone the normal speakers are still active.

It works under Windows.

Soundchip driver is intel-hda.
I've found this as a possible solution:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1719683

Will try this fix later this day (I'm on work right now...)

[Bug 71737] Headphone and Speakers are switched on Amillo Xi1526

2006-11-13 Thread KamiKasi
Public bug reported:

First I thought that the jack sense of the Amillo isn't working but now
I found out the I control the headphone with the front channel and the
speakers with headphone.

Now I think the headphone jack isn't recognized because the hardware
'thinks' this is speaker and I could not unplug the real speakers... ;)

My system is Edgy, Kernel 2.6.17-10-generic.
Soundcard is snd_hda_intel (82801G??)
Intelchipset is Intel 945PM+ICH7-M

Do not know if this is a Kernel or ALSA problem...

PS: Sorry for my bad english!
