[Bug 1934811] Re: Ristretto in Xubuntu 20.04 crashes when I try to look at images on a different machine, but works in Xubuntu 18.04.

2022-04-02 Thread Karim BAKKAL
I think that we had same issue. Can you try this :
1) Launch terminal and type "gbd ristretto"
2) Type "run"
3) choose your image

Then the app crashed. Type "backtrace" and look if you had the same
error than me => bug #1967618

[Bug 1934134] [NEW] "Open with" when using AFP protocol on server folder

2021-06-30 Thread Karim BAKKAL
Public bug reported:

Using the AFP protocol in Thunar 1.8.14 in xUbuntu 20.04.2 LTS.

When i am in "afp://ServerName.local/" and want to open a subdirectory
like "afp://ServerName.local/MyFolder/", Thunar open an "Open With"
menu.

If i put the path "afp://ServerName.local/MyFolder/" directly into the
thunar adress bar, i can see the content of "MyFolder" and can browse it
without problem.

After this step, the "open with" menu doesn't appear anymore.

The "server" is a Qnap nas.
uname -a report : "Linux SERVERNAME 3.4.6 #1 Fri Apr 16 14:32:55 CST 2021
armv5tel unknown"

Can't say if it's browser, client or server related issue.

[Bug 1877648] [NEW] Laptop video problem

2020-05-08 Thread Karim BAKKAL
Public bug reported:

After a fresh install, the system goes to sleep mode in place of showing
logon display. After waking up, the screen stay black but login action
and shutdown button seems to work so there's no video on laptop screen
(LVDS-1).

When i connect an DVI-I monitor before starting, the computer doesn't go
in sleep mode at startup. I can see the logon on external monitor but
there nothing on internal monitor.

I can use the two monitor when i use those commands:
xrandr --output DVI-I-1 --mode 1400x1050 --primary
xrandr --output LVDS-1 --mode 1440x900 --right-of DVI-I-1 --crtc 0

LVDS-1 is reported as "unknown connection" in place of "connected" or
"disconnected".

Xorg0.log report that the internal monitor is disconnected :
[31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output VGA-1 disconnected
[31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output LVDS-1 disconnected
[31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output DVI-I-1 connected
[31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output TV-1 disconnected
