I think that we had same issue. Can you try this : 1) Launch terminal and type "gbd ristretto" 2) Type "run" 3) choose your image Then the app crashed. When i connect an DVI-I monitor before starting, the computer doesn't go in sleep mode at startup. I can see the logon on external monitor but there nothing on internal monitor. I can use the two monitor when i use those commands: xrandr --output DVI-I-1 --mode 1400x1050 --primary xrandr --output LVDS-1 --mode 1440x900 --right-of DVI-I-1 --crtc 0 LVDS-1 is reported as "unknown connection" in place of "connected" or "disconnected". Xorg0.log report that the internal monitor is disconnected : [31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output VGA-1 disconnected [31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output LVDS-1 disconnected [31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output DVI-I-1 connected [31.856] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Output TV-1 disconnected ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04 Package: xorg 1:7.7+19ubuntu7.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-99.100-generic 4.15.18 Uname: Linux 4.15.0-99-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.20.9-0ubuntu7.14 Architecture: i386 CompositorRunning: None CurrentDesktop: XFCE Date: Fri May 8 20:28:43 2020 DistUpgraded: Fresh install DistroCodename: bionic DistroVariant: ubuntu ExtraDebuggingInterest: Yes GraphicsCard: NVIDIA Corporation NV41M [GeForce Go 6800] [10de:00c8] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: Fujitsu Technology Solutions NV41M [GeForce Go 6800] [1734:107c] InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-04-17 (21 days ago) InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Release i386 (20180426) MachineType: FUJITSU SIEMENS Amilo M3438 Series ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-4.15.0-99-generic root=UUID=f910d7c1-f499-455a-ade2-472c22149dcd ro quiet splash vt.handoff=1 SourcePackage: xorg UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) dmi.bios.date: 10/05/2005 dmi.bios.vendor: American Megatrends Inc. dmi.bios.version: 1.10C dmi.board.name: P71EN0 dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: FUJITSU SIEMENS dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnAmericanMegatrendsInc.:bvr1.10C:bd10/05/2005:svnFUJITSUSIEMENS:pnAmiloM3438Series:pvr:rvn:rnP71EN0:rvr:cvnFUJITSUSIEMENS:ct10:cvr: dmi.product.name: Amilo M3438 Series dmi.sys.vendor: FUJITSU SIEMENS version.compiz: compiz N/A version.libdrm2: libdrm2 2.4.99-1ubuntu1~18.04.2 version.libgl1-mesa-dri: libgl1-mesa-dri 19.2.8-0ubuntu0~18.04.3 version.libgl1-mesa-glx: libgl1-mesa-glx 19.2.8-0ubuntu0~18.04.3 version.xserver-xorg-core: xserver-xorg-core 2:1.19.6-1ubuntu4.4 version.xserver-xorg-input-evdev: xserver-xorg-input-evdev N/A version.xserver-xorg-video-ati: xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:18.0.1-1 version.xserver-xorg-video-intel: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.99.917+git20171229-1 version.xserver-xorg-video-nouveau: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1:1.0.15-2 ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug bionic i386 ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1877648 Title: Laptop video problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1877648/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
