The bug is also reproducible under Ubuntu Gusty/7.10 with the Grsync 0.6.1 from http://www.opbyte.it/grsync/ compiled from source with ./configure make sudo checkinstall The crash is due to the load_groups() in the on_session_add_clicked() of callback.c test: comment the load_groups() call in on_session_add_clicked() and compile, grsync will not crash but you will have to restart grsync to see the new session/group -- grsynch crashes on save session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148272 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 148272] Re: grsynch crashes on save session
I fixed the bug by modifying the original source of Grsync 0.6.1 from http://www.opbyte.it/grsync/ in callbacks.c function: void on_session_add_click add: session_last = -1; before line 895: load_groups((GtkWidget*) button, newses); This modification fix the bug (does not crash grsync), however might not be the best fix. Grsync 0.6.1 fixes a number of bugs in the previous version, please check http://www.opbyte.it/grsync/changes.txt So, I think it is better to patch 0.6.1 and upgrade to 0.6.1 instead of patching 0.6.0 -- grsynch crashes on save session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148272 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 26308] Re: Ooo2 breaks arabic ligature on entering diacritic
This is not the issue with all the arabic fonts, I can produce this bug using some fonts but not while using Nimbus fonts or Monospace (this is why you did not notice it in gedit). If you changed the used font in gedit, you will have the same problem. Therefore is not an openoffice.org bug. I am not sure yet if it is still a Ubuntu bug (another package), these fonts are supposed to be made to work correctly. [Bug 63310] Re: Arabic Typing Error
I can confirm this bug under Feisty, the Arabic characters consisting of 2 characters( ex. ﻻ ﻷ ﻹ ﻵ) are disconnected with the previous character (the character on the right) when you write: ا ه ل ا it is shown as: اهلا However when you write: ا ه ﻻ It is shown as: اهﻻ (not connected) Excepted result: اهلا Version information: Ubuntu Feisty -- Arabic Typing Error https://launchpad.net/bugs/63310 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 28429] Re: created .hidden folders/files stays visible after being moved/deleted
Yes, this bug is reproducible on Feisty. I modified the description to include more details. ** Summary changed: - After hiding a directory and deleting it afterwards it stays in nautilus visible + created .hidden folders/files stays visible after being moved/deleted ** Description changed: - If you create a directory with nautilus and hide it afterwards it does - not disapear till refresh (I don't think that is a bug, but has changed - from prev. versions). If you delete the going-to-be hided directory - afterwards it is moved to trash, but you can still see it in the - directory until refresh. - Using version: 2.13.3-0ubuntu5 from dapper. + 1st bug: created .hidden folders in the Desktop folder appears on The Desktop (Hide all windows and show the desktop) and stays visible even if deleted + 2nd bug: deleting a just created .hidden folder while show hidden files is unchecked stays visible in the file manager until a refresh. + + - Desktop folder : ~/Desktop + - The Desktop : Hide all windows and show the desktop + + How to reproduce: (using nautilus) + - With or without view show hidden files checked (does not matter) + 1. Create a folder .testfolder in the Desktop folder + visible on The Desktop (1st bug) + 2. delete this folder + - Although the folder does not appear in the file browser, it stays visible on The Desktop (1st bug) + + - With view show hidden files unchecked + Create a folder named .testfolder in any location and then delete it + - The folder stays visible in nautilus until a refresh (2nd bug) + + Notes: + 1. The above steps produce the same bug for created documents (right click create document ..) + 2. Using the rm/mv commands to delete or move the folder created from nautilus also requires a refresh to hide them in nautilus (the folder is replaced with a file of unknown type and undetermined permissions) + + Version information: + Ubuntu Feisty + original reported on dapper by georg and KarlGoetz ** Tags added: desktop -- created .hidden folders/files stays visible after being moved/deleted https://launchpad.net/bugs/28429 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 28429] Re: created .hidden folders/files stays visible after being moved/deleted
