[Bug 958174] Re: Wireless Mouse not registered on Startup or Reboot
Can confirm this problem still exists in Kubuntu 13-04 clean install with a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman. Running lsusb shows the wireless device is there but it does not function. Solutions offered in posts 40 50 do not work only unplugging and plugging it back in, resolves the issue till next time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958174 Title: Wireless Mouse not registered on Startup or Reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/958174/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I figured I had it fixed but it's started again! Akonadi error messages and NO Kontacts. This is really frustrating. Now I have to go searching for the problem again. Can confirm this very annoying bug on a clean Lucid install. Had the same issues in Karmic. I really feel sorry for anyone trying Kubuntu who doesn't know how to tweak things. Problem still exists for me in Kubuntu Karmic with the latest packages for gscan2pdt-0.9.29-1ubuntu0.1(all) imagemagick-0.7:6.5.1.0-1.1ubuntu3(i386). gscan2pdf will not produce PDF file. Count me hasty too. I just had to revert to Wicd because I could not get plasma widget to connect to hidden network again. [Bug 330811] Re: Can't connect to a hidden network
I have the same problem with a Compac laptop running Kubuntu 9.04. It started after upgrading from Kubuntu 8.10, which worked just fine. The only way to connect to my hidden wireless network now is to make it visible. I've tried Wicd which finds the hidden network also works well. I would like to see plasma-widget-network-manager work as it has that cool plasma look. But in the meantime I'll stick with Wicd. -- Can't connect to a hidden network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
