[Bug 860821] Re: gcalctool crashed with signal 5 in g_simple_async_result_complete()
For me it happened when I just opened it and tried to switch to Financial mode. It did not do anything so I tried again. Then it froze (greyed out), then switched, then greyed out again and crushed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/860821 Title: gcalctool crashed with signal 5 in g_simple_async_result_complete() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcalctool/+bug/860821/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 948907] [NEW] Samsung N210: Screen brighness adjustment no longer available in 12.04 Beta (worked fine in Alpha 2)
Public bug reported: Hi, After the last update I cannot adjust my netbook screen brighness. The shortcuts stopped working and the slider in System Settings - Brighness and Lock disappears when I open it (thats right, its there for half a second on openning Brighness and Lock but then disappears. Everything worked fine in Alpha 2 straight out of the box. Please note that all previous Ubuntu versions (before 12.04) needed custom drivers for this. Unfortunately the maintainer has difficulties and it looks like he will not be able to keep looking after this: http://www.voria.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3t=1074 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: gnome-settings-daemon 3.3.91-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-18.28-generic-pae 3.2.9 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-18-generic-pae i686 ApportVersion: 1.94-0ubuntu2 Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Mar 7 19:46:18 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin - Alpha i386 (20120201.1) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_AU:en LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-settings-daemon UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-02-14 (22 days ago) ** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/948907 Title: Samsung N210: Screen brighness adjustment no longer available in 12.04 Beta (worked fine in Alpha 2) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/948907/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 839280] Re: transmission slow to start
For me, every time I try to start Transmission, it takes up to several minutes but then works fine. In System Monitor (during the initial delay) the process 'transmission-gtk' has Status 'Sleeping' and Waiting Channel 'hrtimer-nanosleep'. [Bug 587909] [NEW] No cutscenes or videos
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: warzone2100 Well, this one is easy. Although WZ is in the official repository, the package does not include the videos. They must be separately downloaded from http://wz2100.net/download and placed in the game directory. I think I know why it is done this way. It helps people with limited bandwidth to enjoy the game and besides, the videos can be downloaded in different quality. However, the description in the depository did not mention this, and did not have a link to http://wz2100.net/download Please add this info there, it will help new users get the game up and running quicker. PS I am using a fully updated Ubuntu 10.4 Netbook Edition to access the game. ** Affects: warzone2100 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No cutscenes or videos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/587909 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
