weeks, probably after some upgrades, notifications stopped showing.

have no idea how to debug this, suggestions welcome. I have tried
grepping the logs in /var/log but no error messages there.

[Bug 1250753] [NEW] Cannot connect do Bluetooth headset with a2dp

2013-11-13 Thread Krzysztof Jelski
Public bug reported:

I'm connecting a bluetooth headset Nokia BH-503. It gets connected as
speakers with microphone device. However, when I choose my headset as
output device and go to Test sound, the sound still comes from my
laptop speakers. Furthermore, I cannot connect as a2dp. Note that all
this worked fine in ubuntu 12.04 with the same hardware.

[Bug 390508] Re: notify-send ignores the expire timeout parameter

2010-03-22 Thread Krzysztof Jelski
How about leaving hardcoded limit for MAXIMUM timeout only? So that
other notifications wouldn't get blocked. Developers (or users of
notify-send) would be able to set the timeout from 1 ms to let's say 5
secs. I guess it would solve 99% of problems mentioned here, wouldn't
it?
