[Bug 191351] [NEW] usplash does not display (monitor goes to power save)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usplash Using Ubuntu Hardy (upgraded to the latest as per 12th Feb) I do not see any usplash stuff. I see Grub, select my option, then my monitor goes into power save mode. After a bit, GDM comes up and I can login, and everything is fine. ** Affects: usplash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- usplash does not display (monitor goes to power save) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191351 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 145506] Re: gtkpod-aac does not allow adding local tracks, claims iPod is not loaded (gutsy)
I can test, but at the moment am incapacitated by a bug with Grub, as soon as I can boot, I'll be sure to test it out. -- gtkpod-aac does not allow adding local tracks, claims iPod is not loaded (gutsy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145506 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 127822] Re: Wine (and GLX) apps crash with Xinerama
You are correct, they are not similar enough, but, according to the errors an documentation, the rendering should only be disabled on the display driven by that card, and not only that, but the Wine apps fail too, and I somewhat doubt uTorrent is doing much in 3D. [Bug 127822] Wine (and GLX) apps crash with Xinerama
Public bug reported: Any time I try to run any windows program with wine, or any GLX application, I get an error. These errors disappear when I stop using Xinerama. I am using Xinerama with three displays, across two graphics cards. [Bug 127822] Re: Wine (and GLX) apps crash with Xinerama
I forgot to mention CPU usage is also very high (often 70% when moving a window) Attached is the error from Wine. GLX apps give the error 'Couldn't set video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX visual' - with nVidia drivers installed and configured correctly. As soon as Xinerama is taken out of use, these problems no longer occur. ** Attachment added: The Error Wine Gives. http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8554556/wineerror.txt -- Wine (and GLX) apps crash with Xinerama https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
