[Bug 728781] Re: ugly plymouth animation during booting with nvidia driver
This bug is still present in Ubuntu 14.04. It appears when you install NVIDIA proprietary drivers, even if they are installed from the official Ubuntu repositories. Ubuntu is used by a large population, today this bug is easy to resolve, why you just don't add this line to grub by default: GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=auto or at less add it to the NVIDIA drivers installatio nscript from the official Ubuntu repositories. ** Changed in: plymouth (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/728781 Title: ugly plymouth animation during booting with nvidia driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plymouth/+bug/728781/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1156479] Re: ext4 error
In fact at each boot Ubuntu said it has to clean my hard disc...then, after variable time of using it, my filesystem was suddenly mount read- only, I could no more use Firefox or other applicatio nwich needed to write on hard disk. In dmesg, I have a lot of lines about ext4 errors. in first I thought about a hard disk failure so I download UBM and did a lot of test. But all the software are ok that my hard disk is clean. Secondly I thought about an ext4 bug, I searched on the web and I found this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1063354/comments/105 i tested it, it works!!! I join you my dmesg log, if it could help you to resolve this very annoying bug. Thanks for your help. ** Attachment added: crash10.txt https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1156479/+attachment/3581996/+files/crash10.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1156479 Title: ext4 error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1156479/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1103953] [NEW] libreoffice freeze when open or save network file
Public bug reported: Hello, LibreOffice regurlarly freeze when I open or save network file (gvfs related?). I can no more use it at work...very annoying bug. Thank you for your help. LGDN I hope this bug report is more complete than the one I reported yesterday since I installed all libreoffice debug packages. [Bug 1103953] Re: libreoffice freeze when open or save network file
When libreoffice freeze, I can not kill it with kill -9 command line until I kill gvfsd-smb before. Other thing: I install gnumeric and it works with my network files, so this bug freeze would be more relative to Libreoffice and gvfsd-smb interaction? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1103953 Title: libreoffice freeze when open or save network file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1103953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
