[Bug 1892521] Re: UI bug - system fonts enlarge after every reboot

2020-08-25 Thread Lee Gimblett
msznapka - its the 'Scaling factor' Setting in Gnome Teaks Fonts section
that brings things back to normal if you increase the value and then
reset to 100%. Not the Fractional Scaling in the Ubuntu settings ( not
for me anyway). You need to apt install gnome-tweaks to reset it.

2020-08-21 Thread Lee Gimblett
Same issue here - After upgrade to mutter 3.36.4 yesterday. On reboot
the system fonts look like X2. Jiggle the Scaling Factor settings up
then back to 1.00 fixes the issue until the next login. Primary monitor
has resolution of 3440 x 1440.

[Bug 885070] Re: Move to Another Workspace causes window to disappear

2013-05-11 Thread Lee Gimblett
I have suffered this issue without resoving it from a fresh install of
Quantal which carried through the Raring upgrade. The exact same
symptoms. I can confirm that berend's suggestion (#11) worked for me.

I thought that the the third destop size parameter in ccms - General
Options- Desktop size- Number of Desktops would be derived from the
two above(Horizontal amd Veritical size), but its not. By putting it
back to one the problem was solved. I have a straight 5 horizontal
workaspace setup.
