[Bug 1002363] Re: 12.04 remmina full screen closes unexpectedly
Hello, This bug affects me too with Remmina (1.0.0-1ubuntu6) in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I have a multiple monitor setup, but usually I don't use Remmina's full screen mode. When I move the mouse pointer from within the RDP session to the other screen, the RDP session drops. On the console: PatBlt: unknown rop: 0x00500325 send: Connection reset by peer This happens about 10 times a day, so I configured the username/password for automated logins ;-) However, I cannot provide steps to reproduce it: many times it will not crash ... [Bug 368394] Re: netbook launcher mouse focus is off
I think I have this bug as well on my Benq Joybook 6000. The proposed new kernel seems to fix an issue with drawing speed. I do not have any speed issues at all. What it seems to be is that netbook-launcher seems to think my screen has a different wdht than it has in reality. When I move my mouse, icons are selected that are on a completely different X-position. But it is not only the mouse! I have five rows of icons on my main desktop, but netbook-laucher seems to think there are four! So, down-arrow will move from 1st icon in 1st row to 5th icon in 1st row, to 4th icon in 2nd row, to 3rd icon in 3rd row, etc. Hope this helps in finding the cause. -- netbook launcher mouse focus is off https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 25931] Re: Failed to initalize HAL.
In my case it's the, only recently surfaced, connection Philips Tv-card. I read through this whole thread, noting down dif'rent fixes that didn't seem to make much sense, until I hit on the Philips-tv card thing. I have a ZOLID tv-card (from ALDI), wich has a Philips chip SAA 71-something. I removed it, rebooted and the bug was solved. What 'bugs' me is this: the problem didn't exist in the latest beta, until I did an update some weeks ago. before that, everything was fine. So it can't have to do with the kernel version (or maybe in some strange indirect way). Anyway, I just installed the RC, hoping not to get that threaded 'failed to initialise hal' message, and was mighty disappointed. I was about to reinstall my Gutsy (wich doesn't mind my tv-card, not even after the latest updates) until I tried removing the card. Think I'll stick with Hardy (I like my stuff cutting the edgez), but for how long I can't tell; I want to use my tv-card eventually... So, another day, another clue. If needed i'll post more details to my system, just ask. For now; hope this get fixed, lve ubuntu still, eventhough it's as hard as real love in the real world sometimes... -- Failed to initalize HAL. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/25931 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 104868] Re: PC does not power down after shutdown or hibernate
I've had this problem for a long time, since Hoary I think, but I found a workaround recently. In my case, a kernel-module causes my 'Asus P5GDC Deluxe' not to power off. I don't know which one, though. Tried to blacklist all modules one by one, but gave up after booting over 10 times. Then I wrote a small script that just unloads all modules just before powering off. Install: sudo cp -v /path/to/rmmod-all /etc/init.d/ cd /etc/rc0.d sudo ln -s ../init.d/rmmod-all S89rmmod-all Remove: sudo rm /etc/init.d/rmmod-all /etc/rc0.d/S89rmmod-all ** Attachment added: Script that unloads all kernel modules http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10626616/rmmod-all -- PC does not power down after shutdown or hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104868 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 50416] Re: My PC don't shutdown with this kernel
Confirmed on Dapper x86 (updated to 19-06-2006). After shutdown the (kernel) message Power down appears, but nothing happens. It seems to be related with a kernel module: When I enter the following command, my computer DOES turn off: sudo su - lsmod | cut -d -f1 | while read MODULE; do rmmod $MODULE; done; /sbin/shutdown Maybe someone can tell me how to track down that one module which causes the problem ...? -- My PC don't shutdown with this kernel https://launchpad.net/bugs/50416 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
