I also got this error message when I ran "sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose virtualbox-ose-source" on my amd64 server. It appears that the linux-headers-virtual package is not listed as a dependency which is why the configuration of virtualbox-ose-source fails. Short term fix: Manually running sudo apt-get install linux-header- virtual. [Bug 447440] [NEW] Upgrade of tzdata package resets timezone info
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tzdata During an apt-get upgrade on a server running Hardy 8.04.3 LTS the tzdata package was updated. The package version upgraded from 2008h-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 to 2009m- 0ubuntu0.8.04. I expected that the system would keep it's previously specified timezone information. Instead the timezone was reset to EDT during the package upgrade. This is a particularly bad thing in production environments where time differences between the clock and file timestamps trigger alerts.
