[Bug 556371] Re: Docky.exe crashed with SIGSEGV
Also present at Ubuntu 12.04. It mostly happens when I update the system, but it has also happened at random times. A message comes up saying there has been a system failure and if I want to send a report. (I say yes every time, so there must be reports of it somewhere). In the details of the error it says: Docky.exe crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_name() -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/556371 Title: Docky.exe crashed with SIGSEGV To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/docky/+bug/556371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 816752] Re: installer crashes upon creating a new user
Problem solved. It was happening because I had checked the option to encrypt the home folder. [Bug 816752] [NEW] installer crashes upon creating a new user
Public bug reported: When installing Ping-Eee on a Lenovo ThinkPad X61, the installer crashes upon creating a new user. A message pops up saying to report it here, so this is what I did. It is a fresh installation that will take up the whole drive. The message also suggests to attach the files /var/log/syslog and var/log/partman: but I can only attach one file with the bug, so I chose the first one. I am not technically orientated, so please keep simple any inquiries about it. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816752 Title: installer crashes upon creating a new user To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/816752/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 653731] Re: layers, channels, paths, undo doesnot display in their window
Hi, I am sorry to say I haven't updated to the Natty Narwhal, due to reported performance glitches, and will not be updating to it in the foreseeable future, as this is my work machine. I can only update on the problem so far, which is that it has somehow changed in nature over time. I have been using GIMP in a Photoshop lookalike layout (see attached screenshot) and those windows won't work in this layout. But, for the past few months, as soon as I drag them out of it, they do work. When I drag them back to it, they go back to being greyed out. (I came across a tutorial in a blog online a long time ago on how to get GIMP to this layout, thus I can't point you to it now.) I hope this helps somehow and sorry for not being able to be more helpful. ** Attachment added: GIMPScreenshot.png https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/653731/+attachment/2202795/+files/GIMPScreenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/653731 Title: layers, channels, paths, undo doesnot display in their window To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/653731/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 653731] Re: layers, channels, paths, undo doesnot display in their window
After another general update, the layers list seemed to work until I dropped an image file in Gimp to open it, at which point they vanished. With today's update, all the lists (except the undo history list) appeared in their windows and worked. [Bug 653731] [NEW] layers, channels, paths, undo doesnot display in their window
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp This is the first time I report a bug, so bear with me if I don't do it right. Here goes: The aforementioned windows display, but the actual lists of layers, channels, paths and undo history come up as blank/do not display. Even if I add layers, they are added but they do not display in the window. The layers menu in the window comes up but all the options are greyed out/cannot be chosen. I have to go to LayerNew Layer... to add a new layer. The windows themselves can be moved, closed, re-opened but the problem persists.
