Does your laptop use either SSD or m2 drive? If so, hp_accel is useless
for them.

[Bug 1752437] Re: [HP ENVY x360 - 15-bq102ng] Touchscreen does not work

2018-11-03 Thread Luya Tshimbalanga
The issue affects all distributions running on HP touchscreen laptop
powered with AMD processors. The culprit is a misconfiguration of ACPI
table impacting the touchscreen function. Some users attempted to
workaround the problem but needed input from upstream.

Thanks, Terry. It worked too on Fedora branch as well. I apply that
patch until gdesklets Core team release 0.36.2.

[Bug 323347] [NEW] No image path for desklets

2009-01-30 Thread Luya Tshimbalanga
Public bug reported:

This bug can be reproduced for any deskets with button leading to edit image
path.
This example is for Calendar v0.62 Display.
Steps to reproduce:

1. Run Calendar desklet from date/time category.
2. Right-click on desklet display for Configure desklet pop-up menu.
3. Click Open button next to Month image input field.

Result: An error dialog on top of the file manager is displayed:

| The folder contents could not be displayed
|
| Operation not supported [ OK ]

It looks like a bug in gdesklets or an API incompatibility.
