Eu esperava um pop-up, depois de 'CTRL+A' com o número de arquivos, pastas e o
tamanho total do diretório.

Aconteceu um pop-up, depois de 'CTRL+A', com o número de arquivos, pastas e o
tamanho, entre parênteses, de alguns arquivos avulsos. Foi necessário clicar

2020-05-22 Thread Hélio Márcio Filho

Instead of "Speakers - Built in Audio" was "Dummy Output". I had to run

2017-03-23 Thread Márcio
Public bug reported:

I changed back to confirmed because :

1 - The PCSXR version is still the old 1.9.92
2 - The user that changed to "Fix Realeased" isn't a package maintainer to
change the status of the bug.

[Bug 1431656] Re: openjdk7-jre dies with SIGSEGV since kernel upgrade

2015-03-14 Thread Márcio Scheibler
By now, jre is working again.
Cannot reproduce it anymore...

I believe reported behavior was due attempts for running JRE after
"overwriting" kernal upgrade and before reboot.
Some time ago kernel upgrades used to employ distinct package names (version
suffix in package name), so I didn't noticed disk image for running kernel was
overwritten, leading to unexpected results.

So I guess this ticket should be closed.

[Bug 1431656] [NEW] openjdk7-jre dies with SIGSEGV since kernel upgrade

2015-03-12 Thread Márcio Scheibler
Public bug reported:

I have been running java applications without trouble in 14.04 LTS
(amd64), using openjdk-7-jre (7u75-2.5.4-1~trusty1).

Since I've upgraded kernel (inux-image-3.13.0-46-generic) to
3.13.0-46.79 (from trusty-updates), JRE keeps just crashing with
SIGSEGV. So I'm unable to run any java application through that JRE.

For reproduce, try just "java -version" from gnome-terminal.

Output from "lsb_release -rd":
=
Description:Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
Release:14.04
=

Output from uname -a:
=
Linux mico 3.13.0-46-generic #79-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 10 20:06:50 UTC 2015 x86_64

[Bug 1310652] [NEW] btrfs filesystem contents disappeared after reboot

2014-04-21 Thread Márcio Santos
Public bug reported:

Running a multi disk RAID 1 with btrfs for a while now on a Virtual Lab Server
with Ubuntu 14.04 amd64.
Today, after a clean reboot due to power failure initiated by the NUTS Daemon,
when the system came back online, the filesystem of this specific RAID 1
disappeared.

df -h shows very little disk space used in the RAID 1:
/dev/sdb597G 80M 595G 1% /kvm

ls -las /kvm shows no files:
total 4
4 drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Apr 21 11:26 .
0 drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 186 Apr 14 00:35 ..

btrfs filesystem show /kvm shows that apparently the previous information is
still in the hard drives:
Label: none uuid: 45075b5b-a389-445a-b70e-00a1bfcd313a
Total devices 2 FS bytes used 39.68MiB

devid2 size 298.09GiB used 158.03GiB path /dev/sdb
Btrfs v3.12

No subvolumes or snapshots exist, since no output is given from btrfs
subvolume list /kvm

Running a scrub on the RAID 1 completes successfully, with no errors found, but
only processes approximatle 80Mb of files:
scrub status for 45075b5b-a389-445a-b70e-00a1bfcd313a
scrub started at Mon Apr 21 15:37:55 2014 and finished after 1
seconds
total bytes scrubbed: 79.36MiB with 0 errors

Running a FS Check on both hard drives reveals no errors:

Tried to perform a restore on one of the hard drives, but no information
was recovered.

Would really appreciate some feedback on this one, could be a really
serious btrfs bug.

Kind regards,

Márcio Santos

[Bug 1242552] Re: btrfs filesystem balance results in Kernel BUG

2013-10-21 Thread Márcio Santos
Already installed the kernel .debs.

Just need to get home and force restart the machine, because the balance
kernel bug stops server from restarting using normal methods. Need to
use "finger in button" method :)

Will update when tested.

[Bug 1232978] [NEW] Can't create a shortcut for deluge-gtk

2013-09-29 Thread Márcio Almada
Public bug reported:

I'm trying to create a gesture for the command `deluge-gtk`. When I
execute this command through terminal everything runs fine, Deluge
Torrent opens. But when I create a gesture and set the same command
'deluge-gtk' for the gesture, deluge doesn't opens.

Gestures command hooks always worked with all sort of applications,
except deluge. Not sure if a deluge problem or a EasyStroke problem
here.

I know it's almost a year since this bug was reported. But in the Debian

the package to the latest version (0.10) of the compiler. So I think
this bug can be resolved.

[Bug 1054188] Re: KVM Virtual Machines go into paused a few seconds after starting up

2012-09-21 Thread Márcio Santos
Solved...

Your comment about hard disc space made me wonder if maybe it could be
some problem with the filesystem on the partition.

A quick sudo e2fsck -f /dev/scd1 found some corrupt inodes that were
fixed and the problem went away.

All the virtual machines are running happily again, or so it seems.

Thanks for all your help, Serge.

Kind regards.

Is it possible that 5.7GB isn't enough for the hypervisor to work

[Bug 1054188] [NEW] KVM Virtual Machines go into paused a few seconds after starting up

2012-09-21 Thread Márcio Santos
Public bug reported:

I have a Testing Virtual Machine Host running with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Server x64.

It has been running stable since the day after the release of Ubuntu
12.04 when it was installed.

Today i discovered that all the virtual machines were in a paused state.

When i try to resume them with "libvirt resume domain" they startup and
go into paused state a few seconds later.

I can't find any errors on libvirt log, domain log or dmesg.

Would appreciate some help debugging and solving the problem.

[Bug 1001842] Re: No Audio from HDMI After Switching Monitor Off / On

2012-06-06 Thread Márcio Santos
I can indeed confirm that upgrading to AMD Catalyst 12.6 Beta fixed the
problem.

I build the .deb package from the install file using the internal build
process:

sh ./amd-driver-installer-8.98-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/precise
sudo dpkg --install fglrx_8.980-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg --install fglrx-amdcccle_8.980-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb

After restart, the problem no longer occurs.

[Bug 1001842] Re: No Audio from HDMI After Switching Monitor Off / On

2012-05-31 Thread Márcio Santos
I can confirm this bug, but i do not believe it is pulseaudio related.

I am experiencing the exact same problems with a new install of Ubuntu
12.04 Server Edition without pulseaudio, with standard alsa sound,
lightdm and xbmc eden.

I believe the problem is Kernel or AMD Drivers related.

When the TV or Monitor is turned off, i get the following log entries in kernel
log:
HDMI hot plug event: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=0 ELD_Valid=0
HDMI status: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=0 ELD_Valid=0

When the TV is turned back on, no HDMI status is detected to turn the
ELD_Valid=1, so no sound from HDMI.

Removing and re plugging the HDMI cable results in a:
HDMI hot plug event: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=0 ELD_Valid=1
HDMI status: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=1 ELD_Valid=1
And sounds begins flowing again.

Logging out from the XBMC session and logging back on, results in the same
events being logged:
HDMI hot plug event: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=0 ELD_Valid=1
HDMI status: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=1 ELD_Valid=1
And sounds begins flowing again.

I was previously running the same setup with Beta 1 and didn't
experience this problem.

[Bug 452027] [NEW] Karmic Beta Server Install CD freezes on Sun X4140 after Network Configuration

2009-10-15 Thread Márcio Santos
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: debian-installer

Installing Karmic Beta on a Sun X4140.

After network configuration stage on the installer (got an address with
dhcp, selected hostname and timezone) the installer freezes when
detecting hdd.

The problem appears to be with the forcedeth module. Passing
forcedeth.blacklist=yes to the installer results in a clean install, not
detecting network devices, but no freezes.

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 352384] Re: can not add vlans to a bond network device

2009-06-26 Thread Márcio Santos
Good to hear it worked for you.

I believe the configuration process should be included in the server
guide since it is a desired configuration in most production
environments.

Will try and find out how i can get the info inserted into the guide.

Kind regards,

Márcio Santos

[Bug 352384] Re: can not add vlans to a bond network device

2009-06-19 Thread Márcio Santos
I had a similar problem a while back.

I was trying to bring the vlans up in a similar way to what you are
doing, and i had the following configuration:

auto vlan50
iface vlan50 inet dhcp
bond-mode 802.3ad
bond-miimon 100
xmit_hash_policy layer2+3
lacp_rate slow
slaves all

auto vlan60
iface vlan60 inet dhcp
bond-mode 802.3ad
bond-miimon 100
xmit_hash_policy layer2+3
lacp_rate slow
slaves all

That would create havoc with my network configuration, because it would
try and create a bond using all interfaces including the vlans when it
brought up vlan 50 and then fail when trying to bring up vlan60 because
the slaves where allready bonded in vlan 50.

It seems the correct way to use bonding and vlans is to:

# Create the Link Aggregation without assigning it an address and defining the
interfaces to enslave
auto bond0
iface bond0 inet manual
bond-mode 802.3ad
bond-miimon 100
xmit_hash_policy layer2+3
lacp_rate slow
slaves eth0 eth1 eth2 eth3

# Create vlan50
auto vlan50
iface vlan50 inet dhcp
vlan_raw_device bond0

# Create vlan60
auto vlan60
iface vlan60 inet dhcp
vlan_raw_device bond0

Could you please try the above configuration adapted to your needs and
see if it works?

It seems that it tries to resolve an ipv6 address and fails.
IPv6 is disabled on OpenSolaris.
Enabling IPv6 on OpenSolaris doesn't fix the problem.

I can confirm this bug.

cat .xsession-errors
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/60x11-localhost: 4: Syntax error: Bad fd number

Changing shell from dash to bash solves the problem, but GNOME becomes
very unstable.

2008-11-14 Thread Márcio Vinícius
This isn't the case for a backport workaround.
It IS a bug (bug 246205), and the software simply doesn't work for me (as I
only use it for World Community Grid). It needs to be fixed in official
repositories (i got the software from there, so it's fair the fix comes from
there too).

[Bug 164627] lirc based applications can not get exclusive access to /dev/input interface

2007-11-22 Thread Márcio
Public bug reported:

Hi,

When i upgraded to Gutsy, my remote control stopped working thru
lirc (it still translates some events to the terminal and applications).
Today i took the night to discover the reason. On my syslog i found
this:

Nov 22 10:36:21 filho kernel: [ 62.706967] input: cx88 IR (PixelView PlayTV

Nov 22 23:47:53 lircd-0.8.2-CVS[6052]: can't get exclusive access to
events comming from `/dev/input/by-path/pci-:00:0b.0--event-ir' interface

After googling a lot, i haven't found anything usefull about
exclusive access.

I thought it could be a competition between lirc and x.org, so i
stopped GDM, went to terminal and tried irw which worked!

I came back to gnome, tried sudo irw, which haven't worked.

I have tried installing lirc from feisty, and it give me the same
syslog messages. Switched back.

So, i have tried to boot on feisty kernell (2.6.20-16-generic) and
x.org worked with lirc from gutsy!

So, the problem seems to be related to the kernel.

Hope this helps you guys to find a suitable explanation.

OBS.: It seems that lots of changes have been made to the kernel...
firstly i can't boot the new kernel (i had to update the initramfs with
the ide-core and ide-generic modules) and now, lirc applications can't
get exclusive access to a interface.

thanks!

[Bug 102698] Re: Internet is not acquired atomatically; I must click on "wire network" in the double monitor icon to activate. Edgy didn't do this; Feisty does. Why?

2007-04-17 Thread Márcio
Now i figured out why NM it's not connecting on the wired network on
begining. It seems that NM detect my static configuration as a manually
configured internet conection. Now i understood. :D

Somebody have some idea of what to do? Is that a way to configure NM
to automatically establish a connection to my internet interface during
boot time? Or, once my computer is configured to be a gateway, should I
simply disable NM?

Should I start a different bug report? Sky, give a light!

Thanx for the atention :D

[Bug 102698] Re: Internet is not acquired atomatically; I must click on "wire network" in the double monitor icon to activate. Edgy didn't do this; Feisty does. Why?

2007-04-14 Thread Márcio
Hello Mark,

Thank you for your interest in helping me.

> So what happens when you disable the networkmanager?
First time when I upgraded to the alpha release of Feisty, my networking
were not working properly. I have a static configuration and a internet
configurantion by dhcp and NerwortManager couldn't handle this properly. So i
decided to disable it, after reading some posts here in lauchpad. I disabled
using the /etc/default/NetworkManager* files When I did it, ifupdown started
doind its job as it was before the upgrade.
Recently, i have upgraded to the beta release and i tried NetworkManager
again. Now it recognizes my static configuration and allowed me to connect to
the internet thru my wired connection, by left clicking on it - what I did on
my first time and worked fine. So i tried to reboot the machine to check if it
memorizes my selection, but it doesn't.
My NetworkManager is now unstalled by apt-get and again ifupdown is doing
the job.

> Is it the same way I do it, by manually clicking the double-monitor icon and
> selecting "wired network." Or is it a different way?
As i said, clicking on the double-monitor icon i can select the wired
conection and connect to the internet as expected. But after a reboot it
doesn't restore my last selection. As my computer act as a gateway, i need it
connected to the internet during the boot. And i think laptop users don't want
to manually select every time the wired connection if it is already connected.

Thanks for all!

This issue is upseting me too
i disabled the NetworkManager until know about a solution for it.
I really like NetworkManager, i think it is a very promissing software, but it
should handle better the network on computers like mine, that acts as a gateway
for my home network.
