Same problem here. I would like to use unity, but lightdm starts in a low grafics mode... Only sddm ist able to start the computer, but not unity. [Bug 113789] servicemenue convert images has problems with dots in pathnames
Public bug reported: The RegEx in the file /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/imageconverter.desktop are not correct. If you try to convert images in a folder named No. 022 the conversion will not work proper. It will recognise the . as the dot from a suffix and produces a Picture in the parent path called No.jpg. I am not good RegExp, so I am not able to fix that stuff.
