[Bug 1431107] Re: ordering cycles with early boot rcS scripts with inappropriate rc2.d links
No, I only had these link, probably mine is another issue. It may be a disk failure, I'm trying a lot of distros lately. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1431107 Title: ordering cycles with early boot rcS scripts with inappropriate rc2.d links To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1431107/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1431107] Re: ordering cycles with early boot rcS scripts with inappropriate rc2.d links
Mmmm I'm having a similar issue, but after ls -l /etc/rc*/*lvm2* I have 1rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 mar 8 19:43 /etc/rcS.d/S08lvm2- ../init.d/lvm2. I am not sure, does that means that I only have the symlink in rcS.d? Btw I am using Kubuntu vivid.

[Bug 1336437] Re: [Nvidia] Slow window resizing
Okay, I've seen that bug 269904 is receiving a fix and I'm using Christopher Townsend's ppa (ppa:townsend/compiz-nvidia-refresh-test) in Trusty and now the resize seems to work really good with nvidia-331 drivers, so I guess this bug report could be closed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1336437 Title: [Nvidia] Slow window resizing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1336437/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1336437] Re: [Nvidia] Slow window resizing
Well, it is at least with nvidia-331, which (correct me if I'm wrong) is the latest version in the Ubuntu repositories, in trusty is still an issue. With this version of the nvidia drivers window resizing is usable, but it does not works as good as it would be expected. With nvidia-340 from the xorg edgers ppa window resize works really smooth but Unity has some flickering problems where Firefox and Nautilus UIs freeze randomly. I think this is an already reported bug on Compiz, but don't know if they are working on it anymore. [Bug 1288747] Re: [334] Parts of the UI randomly flicker when moving the mouse
Well, I have been experimenting this and after adding the ppa for testing it seems to improve the things a lot. [Bug 1063617] Re: 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu1 regression: keeps setting gsettings keys to wrong values
This doesn't seem to fix the bug for me. :( I tested changing the Refresh rate in Composite plugin from 50 to 60, but when I restart Unity the refresh rate return to 50, maybe I'm missing something. ** Tags removed: verification-needed ** Tags added: verification-failed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063617 Title: 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu1 regression: keeps setting gsettings keys to wrong values To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1063617/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1063617] Re: 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu1 regression: keeps setting gsettings keys to wrong values
@townsend Oops, yes, I have an Nvidia graphics card, so I tested it again unchecking the Clic to focus option in Focus Raise Behavior in General options and after restarting Unity the Clic to focus remains unchecked so it seems to work properly.
