[Bug 1327791]
I store all my browser bookmarks as .desktop files and to me it is very annoying to everytime click "Mark as executable". The user should have the option to check "Don't ask again for future .desktop files." and the user should be informed about the security issues. He should have the choice between better UX or better security. Of course the user should also be able to undo this setting. Even if we only have a hidden setting, this would be better than nothing. [Bug 1756612] Re: Launch and Directory Menu items icons are too small
I have a similar problem. In my applications menu the icons are too big. Not all but some of them. Also the tooltips of starters in the panel have too small or too big icons in some cases. Please have a look at the screenshot attached. I am using the numix theme with elementary xfce dark symbols but it doesn't matter which theme or symbols I use. I have Xubuntu 64 bit x86 version 18.10. Maybe the cause is the same.
