[Bug 1023202] [NEW] Canon printer don't print black circles in the print test page
Public bug reported: I have a Canon i560 installed on an ubuntu 12.04. When I print the print test page, the "ubuntu" brand name which is black and the black circles don't appear. But the black text in the lower part and the black frame does appear. I can supply a scanned image of the printed sheet if needed. When I print from acrobat reader or from google chrome, the resulting page miss black text (some text appear, other won't). Printing from LibreOffice or Firefox work well. The configuration of the printer should be ok since I'm able to print correctly from LibreOffice and firefox. I configured the printer in CMYK mode, but alos I tried to print the test page in all different color mode: Greyscale : printing is ok, all test circles appear (in greyscale of course). RGB : wrong colors, the black circles appears in a very light brown CMY : good colors, the black circles appears in a very light brown KCMY or CMYK : good colors, no black circles. I never had any problem with previous version but I'm not sure the problem appeared with the upgrade to 12.04 or later. I also tried to print the print test page with another computer on ubuntu 12.04 and I had the same problem. Printing from windows works well. Thank you. [Bug 478365] [NEW] No sound when volume control is set at a low level on Karmic
Public bug reported: With gnome-volume-control, it's possible to select the volume output I want between 15% and 100%. When the seound volume is set below 15 %, there is no sound. The problem is that the sound at 16 % is too loud. The solution given in Bug #420578 in comment 8 stops the behavior : replacing all instance of "volume = merge" with "volume = ignore" in /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/analog-output.conf*. [Bug 360975] Re: Please add nf_conntrack_pptp and nf_conntrack_netbios_ns to IPT_MODULES

[Bug 350207] Re: failed to stop md devices on jaunty restart or shutdown
After installing Jaunty, I had the same problem as described there : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/71004 (a white screen after shutdown which start to darken in some area...) I removed the 'splash' option in menu.lst but kept the 'quiet' option. Instead of a white screen, I got the problem described in this bug by pierreblueher and WiFi Ed. After removing the 'quiet' option, the bug reappeared only in some rare occasion. When the computer shutdown succesfully, I can read in the console : "iwl3945: Error : Response NULL in 'REPLY_ADD_STA'". I have Ubuntu Jaunty with kernel 2.6.28-13 install on a Dell Inspiron 1520. As you can see in the error message, I have an intel 3945 wireless card.
