[Bug 1864787] Re: Lubuntu failed install "sfdisk --force --append /dev/sda"

2020-05-17 Thread Marcin Wojdyr
I had the same problem. I got message:

Job: Create new partition on device '/dev/sda'
  Command: sfdisk --force --append /dev/sda
  Failed to add partition ...

Both Lubuntu installer and KDE Partition Manager failed to create partition.
I tried gparted - it worked fine.

So I used gparted first to create a partition and selected that partition in
Lubuntu installer.
Unfortunately, the installer deleted and tried to re-create the partition,
failing again.

So once more, I used gparted to create a partition and in the Lubuntu
installer I used "Manual partitioning", avoiding partition changes.
Finally it worked.

[Bug 1452791] [NEW] Fityk crashes when using menuproxy

2015-05-07 Thread Marcin Wojdyr
Public bug reported:

I'm upstream developer of fityk and I've got several reports from Ubuntu 14.04
users that the program crashes when using Unity. The workaround is to set
UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0.
To reproduce:
apt-get install fityk
fityk
and zoom in using a mouse.

Valgrind shows this:

The program creates radio item in a submenu, later deletes it and
creates a new radio item in the same place - and segfaults at this
point.

[Bug 1039247] Re: Resizing with mouse by clicking window edges is difficult, due to small borders

2012-08-24 Thread Marcin Wojdyr
another workaround is to use alt + right mouse button, but of course it
would be good to resize it easily just with mouse
