[Bug 320057] Re: Thunderbird hangs for 10secs when auto-completing address
Just an FYI - I just starting having this problem w/ 9.10 (worked perfectly before); however a colleague had this problem w/ previous versions as well. Aslo, note: I am not having this problem in 3.0. I just upgraded using this method: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ubuntuzilla Missing some add-ons, but so far everything is working great. -- Thunderbird hangs for 10secs when auto-completing address https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/320057 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I'm attaching a file - activemq - which is designed to be a startup/shutdown (/etc/init.d/activemq) for ActiveMQ. [Bug 100059] Re: evolution-exchange hangs when autocompleting mail-addresses
I can report that this happens to be daily. Sometimes I can get around the problem by kill -9'ing all the evolution processes and then restarted evolution, but that doesn't work all the time either. I have noticed that there might be some Calendar related problems with this too. The only reason I say that is that once I restart evolution the calendar that is my default is not checked (evolution Calendar). This might just be due to the fact that I've lost connection to the backend process, but just wanted to pass that along. One other thing: I notice that I don't get this problem as much if I select the To: and get the Select Contacts from Address Book dialogue. In that screen it has you select which address book you want to search on, so I was wondering if the autocompletion is failing on the general search for which address book to use (I have a personal one). Also - any updates on this? [Bug 68743] Unable to add a Task or Meeting to an exchange calendar
Public bug reported: After upgrading to edgy, Evolution is not able to create tasks nor meetings on an exchange calendar. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Calendar (Exchange Calendar) 2. Right click on a time slot - New Task/New Meeting 3. Fill in Summary/Description 4. Hit Save Expected result: successful calendar entry Actual: The UI appears to have added the entry for about 2 seconds, but it then disappears. Checking the web interface, confirms that the calendar entry was not added. I am able to do the following, in Evolution; concerning exchange: - view the calendar - see updates - delete tasks/meetings - add all day events - mail is working - global address book is working Versions: Evolution 2.8.1 Linux 2.6.17-10-386 #2 Fri Oct 13 18:41:40 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: evolution-exchange (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Unable to add a Task or Meeting to an exchange calendar https://launchpad.net/bugs/68743 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
