Hi! Unfortunately I must now tell you that something went wrong with networkmanager again. As I did some ATA-device configuration and changed to static ip and back to dhcp again now networkmanager shows no network connection. Network connection is OK, only networkmanager shows false sign and does not show any connection information. Since your configuration has now changed and what wasn't working is now working I am going to close the bug. I'm sorry, but my configuration has now changed. I made clean install of ubuntu 7.04 and now networkmanager is working. Networkmanager was not the reason because internet connection was OK. Now there is two network indicators on panel. Networkmanager 0.6.4 and Network Monitor 2.12.1. Network monitor shows traffic by blinking. If additional information is needed, here is NEW configuration with clean install. 1. Linux pavilion 2.6.20-8-generic #2 SMP Tue Feb 13 05:18:42 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux 2. attachment dmesg.log 3. attachment lspci-vnn.log 4. attachment lshal.log Please include the following additional information: 1. Please include the output of the command uname -a in your next response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture. 2. Please run the command dmesg dmesg.log and attach the resulting file dmesg.log to this bug report. 3.
