[Bug 542491] Re: Lucid no support Linksys WUSB100v2

2010-09-02 Thread Martijn van Hoesel
The RT2870STA driver is present in the staging folder but won't work with the
v2. The driver doesn't recognize the 1737:0078 device.
After downloading and installing the RT2870STA driver RaLink, still no success.
Because I modified the rtusb_dev_id.c file, the driver does associate with the
device but it doesn't work properly. It can't see any AP's to associate with
and manual association fails.
In the end, I got the WUSB100v2 working with the RT3070STA driver from RaLink,
which has a nickname RT2870. Modified the rtusb_dev_id.c file to add the
1737:0078. Works like a charm.

[Bug 578137] Re: gallery2 2.3 php 5.3 incompatibility

2010-05-26 Thread Martijn van Hoesel
If those 29 CVE's are open, then why are they listed under the 'Resolved
issues' heading and not the 'Open issues' heading? If I open the issues,
it states fixed.

Public bug reported:

There's no sound after upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10. Sound worked fine
before (as of 7.10), but not anymore. In sound preferences, tab
hardware, no devices are shown.

I did modify the last line of alsa-base.conf (See bug #434085, I have a
HP dv6000), dit a modprobe -r and modprobe, but no change (but it did
make a crackling noise).
