Indeed I still am, Luis. I'm now on Saucy, so keeping as rolling as I can :) Something else that happens that I didn't mention is that on boot up, function keys are enabled with the FN key, but after a suspend/resume cycle, they are the primary action (the latter is what I have set in the BIOS). [Bug 1100568] [NEW] nm-applet doesn't appear to be connecting after resume
Public bug reported: After I resume, nm-applet seems to go from disconnected to connected, not giving any feedback while it's connecting. It's a bit uncomfortable because you can't tell if you should manually connect or not. From what I can tell, it was created because I wanted to have a dual monitor set up, and without tweaking it from the amdaccel app, I can't get more than 1600x1600 between both monitors, which makes it feel like 1994 all over again :) Can you tell me more about the symptoms? Does the corruption show up 100% of the time, or only in certain apps? Is it only associated with text fonts? Does it always look the same as in the photo, or does it vary? It seems to happen with everything, not linked to a specific app. Images, text, all of it. If I scroll up and down, it fixes the corruption, but only until something draws itself again. Can you reproduce this behavior with Unity2D or Gnome Classic (no effects)? If you disable fglrx and boot with -ati, does the corruption still occur? I ended up replacing the card with an Intel one because the laptop was basically an expensive brick :) I do still have it, so I'll try to put it back and try that package.
