[Bug 378780] [NEW] Panel Launchers Retain Focus

2009-05-20 Thread Matt Gagne
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I tried reopening bug #18361 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/gnome-panel/+bug/18361), but was told to instead open a new bug. So I
have done so:

I seem to have a regression of bug 18361. Instead of dotted lines, I get
the Gnome 'icon selected' orange highlight/box around my launchers.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Click on any panel launcher,

Result: Launcher, erm, launches, and an orange 'highlight' box placed on top of
launcher icon indicating its selection.
Expected Result: Launcher launches and *without* leaving launcher highlighted!

ALTERNATE (more consistent) reproduction method:
1) Click and hold down button on panel launcher.
2) Move mouse off of launcher to blank panel space (i.e. grey space.)
3) Release mouse button.

Result: Orange 'highlight' box placed on top of launcher icon indicating
its selection.

I can get rid of the box by clicking on any other panel item (including
Applications/Places/System.) Please note that this occurs using *both*
Compiz and Metacity.

Specifications:
HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop
Gnome Version: 2.26.1
Linux Kernel: 2.6.28-11-generic
gnome-panel 1:2.26.0-0ubuntu7 (jaunty)
I am running Jaunty with all current updates.

** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 180452] Re: Amarok adds same item in infinite loop in random playlist

2008-01-17 Thread Matt Gagne
I am using 1.4.8 (the version within which the fix has been implemented), but
this bug is still present:
Although no longer triggered by using 'Previous Track,' it still occurs when a
song which has been played in a Dynamic Playlist (ie name appears greyed out
above currently playing song) is added to the upcoming queue (or dragged below
the current playing song). Essentially, when Amarok tries to play a song which
is 'Grey,' the infinite loop behaviour starts.
