2007-05-03 Thread Matt Russell
Adding Option XaaNoSolidFillRect fixed this problem for me.

[Bug 92962] Re: [apport] nautilus crashes when viewing root folder (and some other folders I do not 'own')

2007-03-24 Thread Matt Russell
I have done a clean installation of Feisty Beta and I can confirm that
this bug is NOT present. This must have been caused by some leftovers
from the many upgrades, or maybe some 3rd party software...

[Bug 92962] Re: [apport] nautilus crashes when viewing root folder (and some other folders I do not 'own')

2007-03-22 Thread Matt Russell
I am pretty sure that it has nothing to do with the theme; the problem
occurs with every theme I have tried.

[Bug 92962] Re: [apport] nautilus crashes when viewing root folder (and some other folders I do not 'own')

2007-03-22 Thread Matt Russell
I have run Valgrind again, this time using Human theme (ubuntulooks), to
eliminate the possibility that the problem is caused by a theme. I
actually ran it twice. The first time was with Nautilus already running,
just opening a new window. This test went as expected - it crashed and
Valgrind did its job. The second, however, was with no previously open
nautilus windows. This time it took a very long time to show anything
(1-2 mins), and memcheck closed due to a segmentation fault. The logs
are attached.

[Bug 92962] Re: [apport] nautilus crashes when viewing root folder (and some other folders I do not 'own')

2007-03-19 Thread Matt Russell
I have run Nautilus through Valgrind and attached the log. I will note,
though, that 'memcheck' seemed to crash as nautilus crashed (a bug
report window appeared). Is this normal?
