[Bug 72609] Re: K3b temporarily ejects disk before verification

2009-05-25 Thread MaxFox
same problem after upgrading ubuntu 8.10-9.04.
this feature worked before, and availability of this feature was the reason why
i have installed k3b.
cd is mounting if tray closed by hand, but k3b does not begin to check cd,
timer is counting up. pressing cancel and no errors in debug info.

checking Do not eject medium after write process option solved the
problem, after burning media k3b is checking cd.

[Bug 266987] Re: ubuntu start low resolution in 50% cases

2008-11-07 Thread MaxFox
HI

thank you for reply.
actually i found workaround for this problem.
i have used nvidia x server settings utility and had replaced
/etc/X11/xorg.conf with generated settings and now ubuntu always starts with my
preferred setting instead default.

[Hardy 8.04 alpha-2, nVidia proprietary driver] Display resolution randomly
starts at low resolution instead of the chosen resolution when using nVidia
proprietary driver but not a problem with open-source driver. New nVidia
proprietary driver is in the updated Ubuntu restricted repository. It fixes
the problem.
