[Bug 799292] [NEW] Banshee window crashes on launch
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: banshee Ever since I tried adding a couple of internet radio stations, banshee doesn't start properly. It seems to launch, but the window is all messed up. It looks like the window starts, but it starts crashed - it's effectively invisible (can still see the desktop behind it). [Bug 740090] Re: Bluetooth dongle requires restart of bluetooth service
I have two bluetooth dongles: The one that came with my Logitech MX1000 Mouse and MX5000 keyboard. It used to work fine (definitely not since Maverick, not sure how long before that). At the login screen, the mouse worked, but the keyboard didn't (both paired and trusted). Removing the dongle and replacing it didn't fix the problem, but if I held the red button in while replacing it, it works every time. So, I bought a new bluetooth dongle, thinking it was a wierd logitech thing. With this one, neither the mouse or keyboard work at login, and I have to restart the bluetooth service to fix it. [Bug 776363] [NEW] Bluetooth service needs to be restarted before a Bluetooth dongle works
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluez I can't turn bluetooth on with a dongle plugged in, unless I issue the command sudo service bluetooth restart. This occurs when the dongle has been plugged in on starting up (I need to use a wired keyboard to log in), or when I plug in the dongle later. The dongle in question is the one attached at the time of the bug report (which was just after I issued the bluetooth restart command). This is similar to Bug #762964 and #700292, but it isn't fixed yet with the latest updates installed (I believe my kernel version is the same as the kernel updates mentioned that fix it in some instances). I also had a related problem with a logitech bluetooth dongle (for an MX5000 keyboard), where I discovered a workaround that I had to replug in the dongle while holding the red button to get it to work (I didn't try the bluetooth restart command). I'm aware that I can just add a restart command in the rc.local file, but I'm trying to use stock ubuntu, as it's now in the league of a proper commercial OS! [Bug 570663] [NEW] USB Sound Card not working in Kubuntu (with Alsa)

[Bug 539879] Re: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000028
Same here - 64 bit ubuntu karmic host, just trying out the beta of lucid in a Virtualbox session. Was fine until I installed Guest additions - then forced low graphics mode (couldn't detect or something). This message popped up shortly after logging in. -- BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0028 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539879 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 513186] Re: Ubuntu One Client crashed
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 457147 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/457147 I performed the steps you described, but the files you asked me to attach don't exist. I let UbuntuOne run for 5 mins or so, then copied 3 files, waited another couple of minutes. I assume it's just not logged anthing...? On 28 January 2010 04:05, duanedesign duanedes...@ubuntu.com wrote: I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. If you would like to help debug the problem that would be greatly appreciated. You can do the following in order to provide important details that will help determine the root cause of this issue? 1) Quit the Ubuntu One client 2) Open Applications-Accessories-Terminal, then run the command: mv ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log_old mkdir ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log 3) Open (or create if it doesn't exist): ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf Add the following 2 lines to this file and save: [__main__] log_level = DEBUG 4) Restart UbuntuOne Applications-Internet-Ubuntu One 5) Let Ubuntu One run for a bit, copy some files into your Ubuntu One Folder. Then attach the following logs to this bug: ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log /syncdaemon-exceptions.log The issue you are having with logging into the web interface is a known issue and the Ubuntu One Team is working on it as we speak. Here is a workaround in the meantime. [Bug 432569] Re: Ubuntu One does not sync all files
I also have this issue - I had it in jaunty, and i stil have it after upgrading to karmic. 5.3GB synced out of 30.9 (i'm paying for the 50GB storage). I leave my PC on as a server, logging out/in probably once or twice a day. It's been like this for maybe a couple of months? I went through a bug fix with a developer, who's conclusion was it all looks good - just wait and it should eventually sync. It didn't, and it doesn't look like it's going to.
