[Bug 1644943] Re: mailman 2.1.20-1 hangs during update

2016-11-30 Thread Michael Phillips
Has apt hung at setting up mailman.
says run "sudo dpkg --configure -a"
this just keeps hanging and never completes.
therefore apt does not work at all now.
so cannot update my server.

[Bug 715447] [NEW] package doc-base 0.9.5 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 30

2011-02-08 Thread Michael Phillips
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: doc-base

I have been having problems getting ubuntu to boot after it installs. I
had two drives installed, one SATA and the other IDE. I was installing
on the SATA drive but for some reason the boot loader kept getting
installed on the IDE drive. If I tried to boot the SATA drive it would
automatically load windows. If I selected the IDE drive, it would give
me options to load ubuntu which worked for a while, but stopped not long
after. I have removed the IDE drive and am trying to reinstall in hopes
that it will work that way. It just crashed on the first attempt.

[Bug 427822] Re: fsck says last write time in future

2009-09-23 Thread Michael Phillips
I did a update-manager -d last night (Sept 22 CST) and it rendered the
system useless after the first reboot, I was stuck in this cycle. I
don't think Uwe is experiencing more complicated issue, I think a lot of
people are experiencing it. I will monitor this bug if you want me to
test anything to provide additional information.

[Bug 364885] Re: no sound after resuming from suspend

2009-06-10 Thread Michael Phillips
Antioch's solution is a work around for the time being but I too have
this issue. I just got the card too! Might have to switch back to on
board for the time being. Regardless, keep up the great work guys!!!
Suspend / resume is really solid for me otherwise.

[Bug 64738] Re: New To-dos are duplicated. (duplicate resources entries)

2008-05-07 Thread Michael Phillips
For GNOME users "System Settings > Advanced > KDE resources > Calendar"
is not available. Instead open Kontact, click on Calendar to display the
calendar view, go to Settings > Sidebar and make sure Show Resource View
is selected. Then you should see the Calendar Resources on the left
sidebar with two Default KOrganizer resource entries. Delete the second
one and this should fix the duplicate to-do problem.
