[Bug 1568815] [NEW] iwlwifi 3160 regression - wifi is unstable, bluetooth does not work anymore
Public bug reported: With the latest upgrade, the wireless card it is not working anymore as it should. The problems: 1. Wireless connection signal is extremely weak. Other laptop in the same room can connect to the wireless with full signal. 2. The bluetooth is not anymore operational. No Bluetooth hardware component is found. I had successfully used the bluetooth on this laptop, connecting it to a bluetooth mouse before with no problem. I have the same problem with LibreOffice. This is a big problem, because some of the menu are not accessible when the bar is stuck. I'm running 3.8.12-0ubuntu1 unity. I think we either reopen this bug, or we should make a new one. I have this problem on 10.04 Lucid Lynx as well. The computers is just booted and only the housekeeping application are running. The load is at 0.31 and I have no clue why. ASAP I try to do something more computational challenging, as to start firefox..., the system slow down and degrade badly till a point my only option is to reboot. I have the same problem here. This happens everytime if I use the autologin feature and does not happen if I log in manually. With the autologin the US (default) layout is assumed.
