Hi Mike,

Thanks Mike for your message. 
My error basically stemmed from the error in my OpenCV code. The reason was 
that I used a different naming string in the following related OpenCV functions:

namedWindow(..) 
imshow(..)

Once I did the amends, all is ok in my Ubuntu 16.04, T530, Thinkpad
Laptop.

I get the similar error while implementing rotation of an image in
OpenCV.
