[Bug 688174] Re: [Realtek ALC1200] No sound at all. Ubuntu 10.10x64.Works fine on dual boot windows 7
Confirmed this in many distribution with a modern kernel. This is not ubuntu, but alsa problem. It seems to be broken between 2.6.34.10 and 2.6.35.13 (diff is attached) You can fix this by reversing attached patch and recompiling the kernel. ** Patch added: Codec-related changes https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/688174/+attachment/2435157/+files/minpatch.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/688174 Title: [Realtek ALC1200] No sound at all.
