[Bug 1859417] Re: PXE installation of Ubuntu-18.04.03 stuck at 66%
We have tried with normal SATA HDD with different schenario's, 1. We are able to reproduce the issue when there are multiple OSes present on other HDD 2. We have tried with only one HDD (i.e. no other OSes installed on whole system). We are still able to reproduce the issue. The issue is also reported by Linaro guys where they tried to install Ubuntu 18.04 on ThunderX2 Saber hardware. We will try to get more logs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1859417 Title: PXE installation of Ubuntu-18.04.03 stuck at 66% To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/os-prober/+bug/1859417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1862559] Re: ubuntu 19.10: unresponsive/freezes on ThunderX2 if system is idle for ~22min
Thank you very much. Attached the dmesg log collected from the system. May be it gives some hints on the freeze behavior. BTW it looks like we are using a different BIOS version TX2-FW-Release-7.4-build_05 from the logs. I will confirm the equivalent AMI BIOS version. If they are not using the AMI BIOS. I will ask our developers to check with AMI BIOS version.
