After the last update, TexStudio settings works correctly, however nautilus is 
still do not save icons position.

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04.

Applications cannot change their settings. For instance when I change an
icons position in the desktop, then I update it; the icon returns to
default position. Also,  when I change settings of TeXstudio  and then
re-start it I get only last settings, new settings are not applied.

I've applied : sudo chown [username]:[username] -R ~/.config
but the problem persists.

solution, It works temporary.

@Michael, The TI cards are now supported using the Tifm21 drivers ( on
berlios if you want to check it out) anyway This driver has been
included in the kernel, make sure you have a new kernel!!!

On my 2.6.24 kernel it is working very nice...
