[Bug 1740792] Re: Automatic login still requires user password after suspend/hibernate
To a normal user I'm pretty sure that it would be a UX issue, even though technically it's different between login and unlock, UX wise it isnt. If a user reboots or suspends the computer they wouldn't expect it to behave differently, a lot of people don't even understand the difference between a system suspend and shutdown. Please reconsider the priority of this issue. [Bug 1740792] [NEW] Automatic login still requires user password after suspend/hibernate
Public bug reported: Description:Ubuntu 17.10 Release:17.10 gnome-control-center 3.26.2 When I set Ubuntu to automatically login a user the user still has to enter their password when resuming from a suspended session. The only option I can find to fix this is to disable the lock-screen completely, which I don't want to since I still want it to be an option to manually lock it. Setting Privacy > Screen Lock to off doesn't affect this behavior at all. The solution seems to be to use dconf-editor and change org.gnome.desktop.screensaver.ubuntu-lock-on-suspend to false. [Bug 898870] Re: Grid placed window overlaps the adjacent viewport
I can still reproduce this in 13.10. The edge of the window is still visible on the next workspace. [Bug 859056] Re: Sometimes when programs has dropdown windows the unity launcher gets visible
Version: Ubuntu 11.04, 64-bit Unity Version: (I don't really know how to find this but this was the information in USC) 3.8.16-0ubuntu1~natty2 (unity) Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 (fglrx) Clean install: Yes When did the problems start: As soon as I opened libreoffice calc and got working with it (system has been installed for about a week) Steps to reproduce: 1. Open CCSM and set the launcher to only dodge active windows. 2. Open libreOffice 3. Maximize it 4. Select a cell and either set borders or add a background color so that a little drop down menu opens. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/859056 Title: Sometimes when programs has dropdown windows the unity launcher gets visible To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/859056/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 790591] Re: More effective launcher area with the workspace switcher and the trash relocated
Since the AppIndicators can be the same size or even smaller I guess that the current size on my mockup wouldn't make such a big impact though if the appLauncher get's resized to a smaller width I know that it might get troublesome. That's why it's just a mockup and I think that an idea like this needs to be reviewed by the Ubuntu design team.
