[Bug 773356] Re: graphic card regressions in natty with intel graphics card

2011-05-18 Thread Nyarlathotep
I've recently installed some update pushed automatically into my system and the
intel drivers were part of it.
That basically solved my problems as I don't experience any crash any longer.

[Bug 401497] Re: wrong keyboard layout after upgrade with autologin

2009-12-28 Thread Nyarlathotep
I can't understand why this bug is set with low importance, as
everything so badly affecting basic use cases should be a show stopper
error.

[Bug 345975] Re: Unmute not working after reboot

2009-08-15 Thread Nyarlathotep
I can duplicate this bug on Jaunty installed on a Acer M1610 which has a
embedded SiS966 audio card with a Realtek ALC1200 chip.
I don't have this bug on my laptop IBM X41 with Jaunty installed on it.

[Bug 398143] Re: Very low volume for Flash videos on Firefox 3.5

2009-07-12 Thread Nyarlathotep
Hi Micah,

yes, the audio is perfectly ok with any other application, music and movie
player for example.
The problem is only related to Flash.

Another detail which just jumped in my mind is that initially I had some
problem with Pulse just because, as I mentioned in the error
description, I changed the motherboard and then also the audio card
which is integrated.

With Pulse not working I had problems with websites using Moonlight
(Silverlight), like no audio and ultimately Firefox crashing.

Once I fixed the Pulse problem and got Moonlight working fine I was
really optimistic but unfortunately Flash wasn't working yet, just
because Flash Player doesn't use Pulse at all I guess?

But however, with kernel 2.6.24-24-generic the problem just disappeared.

[Bug 398143] Re: Very low volume for Flash videos on Firefox 3.5

2009-07-11 Thread Nyarlathotep
By rolling back to kernel 2.6.24-24-generic the problem disappeared.

Is there any specific relevant difference at driver/module between these
two kernel versions?
