[Bug 207409] Re: [HARDY] xserver-xorg does not auto-configure correctly

Is this bug likely to get fixed?  I have a ASUS Pundit-R which has
worked happily with Gusty since it was issued but is less useful now.

A simple work around would do in the interim but longer term it the
system needs to be flexible if the automatic configuration fails.  This
type of problem is what has put lots of people off MS products.
