[Bug 174832] Re: ubuntu gnome-terminal - wrong key mapping in bash with a french keyboard

2008-09-05 Thread Oli44
Hello,

Using Ubuntu 8.04, still have the problem: French keyboard layout works
for most applications (applications with a GUI) but doesnt inside Gnome-
terminal (ctrl+q insteead of ctrl+a).

This is very annoying, especially in LTS Ubuntu! I dont want to have to
live with that for years!

I spent several hours reconfiguring locales package for nothing since
this si the terminal that's wrong! Terminator wroks the same by the
way

[Bug 239961] [NEW] cant have more than one webcam at once

2008-06-14 Thread oli44
Public bug reported:

hi,
using the gspca-source package, version 01.00.18-2 on a fresh Ubuntu 8.04
install (not vanilla, Ubuntu Studio 2.6.24-18-rt) , I can't use more than one
webcam at a time.

This is a behavior I used to have using Debian Etch on some other box,
running kernel 2.6.18-5.

I deinstalled the kernel module, recompiled gspca from source
(gspcav1-20071224) against kernel version 2.6.24-18-rt and it works
fine, I can have 3 webcams playing at a time inside Puredata.
