[Bug 1218973] Re: [Dell XPS 12-9Q33] Touchpad not recognized
There was indeed a regression between 3.13.0-26 and 3.13.0-27. And between 3.13.0-28 and 3.13.0-29 if you've installed AceLan's 3.13.0-28 kernel. [Bug 488344] [NEW] QFileDialog doesn't return selectedFilter
Public bug reported: With Karmic under Gnome (UNR) on my netbook, with this code (from SwatchBooker http://www.selapa.net/swatchbooker/) filetype stays empty. filetype = QString() fname = unicode(QFileDialog.getSaveFileName(self, SwatchBooker - Save file, fname, ;;.join(filetypes.keys()),filetype)) The strange thing is that with exactly the same versions (libqtgui4 4.5.3really4.5.2-0ubuntu1, python-qt4 4.6-1, python 2.6.4-0ubuntu2) on my laptop I don't have any problem. Public bug reported: This might be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /alsa-driver/+bug/421047 but I don't have enough informations to be sure... Sound was working fine in Jaunty. I updated to Karmic around Alpha 3, and sound stopped working until I changed permissions for using audio. Then a few updates later, it stopped working again and I'm still in the same situation. Interesting thing to note: the sound preference applet show no sound card into the hardware list and I don't have any sound with the default config, i.e. in apps where I can't change the audio output. But I can have sound with SMPlayer if I set the output to alsa (0.0 - HDA Intel) (default alsa doesn't work) and with VLC with any alsa output (HDA Intel: ALC861-VD Analog (hw:0,0) or HDA Intel: Si3054 Modem (hw:0,6)) specified. Again, the default alsa output doesn't work.
